Racing UK have an army of presenters and analysts who help provide up-to-the-minute news from the paddock as well as offering views on the up-and-coming races.  The knowledgeable punditry helps enhance the live horse racing on offer on Racing UK as well as trying to find viewers some all-important winners.

Take a look at some of Racing UK's top presenters who broadcast live from horse racing tracks all over the country.

Nick Luck

Nick Luck has to be the most recognisable of Racing UK's presenters engrossing viewers with his eloquent style before and after the race.  A genuine wordsmith, Luck's consistent professionalism and knowledge of horse racing has won him some coveted broadcasting awards from his time at Racing UK. 

A presenter since the channel's inception Luck is regularly seen roaming the paddock at the major festivals gaining interviews with the horses connections, whilst conveying the atmosphere with aplomb. 

Lydia Hislop

Lydia Hislop has been another mainstay of the Racing UK presenting team and is another who is a regular contributor from the major horse racing meetings.  After working for the BBC and Channel Four, Hislop moved to Racing UK at its inception and has provided viewers with great insight on live horse racing since.

Hislop hit the headlines when her opinions on AP McCoy's ride aboard Get Me Out Of Here in a race aggravated the champion jockey and caused friction between the pair, but she still continues to give her views on all things racing to entertain and inform the viewer.

Angus McNae

A regular in the studio Angus McNae is often seen on Racing UK presenting Mark Your Card on a Saturday lunchtime.  After venturing into the world of racehorse training, McNae elected to move to broadcasting and has worked at Racing UK since it started in 2004.

As well as a regular presenter of Mark Your Card, McNae is normally seen as a voiceover for the day's action as well as providing viewer's with in-depth analysis through Racing Review.

Tom O'Ryan

Tom O'Ryan started his racing career in the saddle and following a stint as a freelance jockey he elected to move to the broadcasting business and was signed up by Racing UK following a spell with Race-Form.

Now a regular presenter for Racing UK, O'Ryan is often seen reporting from the Northern tracks providing viewers with top class analysis as well as full frank opinions on the live action.

Mark Johnson

Mark Johnson is one of the UK's senior racecourse commentators and has become a hit in the United States covering the Breeders Cup.  His vast knowledge of the racing world was recognised by Racing UK and he has become an integral part of their broadcasting team.

A regular contributor to the live French racing, Johnson joins up with pundit Claude Charlet to provide viewers with first class analysis on the live action.

Rishi Persad

Rishi Persad is a well-known sports broadcaster and has shown his versatility throughout his televison career.  However, horse racing broadcasting has been a regular avenue of work for Persad and he is now seen not only on BBC, but on Racing UK.

An integral part of Racing UK's Cheltenham Festival team, Persad is regularly seen wandering around the parade ring to give the latest news on all the horses in the paddock.

Richard Hoiles

Richard Holies has been in the horse racing business for decades and has been a recognised racecourse commentator since 1992.  Since then he has branched out and after presenting the first broadcast for The Racing Channel he has continued his television work with both Channel Four and Racing UK.

He is not just seen in the presenting chair as he is sometimes used as a pundit on Racing UK's programmes and his fountain of knowledge enhances the programme considerably.

Stewart Machin

Originally a member of the Racing Channel, Stewart Machin then moved over to Racing UK in 2004 and is now one of the channel's leading presenters.  He combines his work as a racecourse commentator with his Racing UK presenting and both is done with finesse.

Graham Cunningham

After stints at Timeform, The Sporting Life and The Racing Post. Graham Cunningham joined Racing UK as an analyst in 2004.  His absorption of racing shines through in his punditry as he enlightens the viewers with personal opinions twinned with form facts.

A regular alongside Nick Luck, Cunningham helps inform the viewer of the latest developments from the paddock as well as tipping up runners for the live races.

Steve Mellish

Steve Mellish has been a regular pundit on Racing UK over the last few years and is often seen broadcasting live from Cheltenham with Lydia Hislop.  Originally a punter, Mellish has now branched into the television area and is always the first to give an opinion to the viewer.

His knowledge of the form guide is second to none and it has provided the viewer with an in-depth look at the form guides.

Claude Charlet

French-born Claude Charlet has become the regular analyst for all the live French racing shown on Racing UK.  Often seen in the studio with presenter Mark Johnson, Charlet's knowledge of French racing is invaluable to the UK viewers as they look to find winner in some of the top French action.
