Nick Luck

Nick Luck is now the most recognisable face of live horse racing coverage as he juggles his time between Racing UK and Channel Four providing viewers with both informative and entertaining presenting styles to engross the audience in the day's racing.

After joining Racing UK at its inception in 2004, Luck has blossomed with the subscription channel and has since become a horse racing stalwart with his vast array of vocabulary describing the action in magnificent style.

Bosses at Channel Four were obviously impressed with Luck's presenting styles and he quickly snapped up by the terrestrial channel and is now is a regular presenter of The Morning Line on a Saturday morning.  He sets the scene for the day's racing wonderfully and joins up with guests such as former champion jockey John Francome, John McCririck, Tom Lee and Tanya Stevenson.

Nick Luck is generally the turn-to guy for all the major meetings throughout the flat and national hunt season and is a maintstay of Racing UK's coverage at the biggest meetings including the Cheltenham Festival, Grand National, Epsom Derby and many more of the leading extravaganzas.

Often alongside Steve Mellish or Mark Howard, the pair have a great rapport with each other and describe the action with aplomb to provide the audience with a full and frank preview and review of the racing taking place.

Luck has been awarded a plethora of gongs down the years and has been crowned HWPA Broadcaster of the Year on more than one occasion and with those accolades has become the most-wanted man in horse racing streaming.

Even the American networks have picked up on Luck's ability in front of the camera and he is now part of ESPN/ABC's Breeders' Cup coverage providing the British view of the United States' extravaganza,

However, it is not just Luck's presenting style that has won him admirers, but he is also regarded as a leading tipster in the business.  Providing Racing Plus readers with an informative column on a Saturday, Luck's tips are often touched on in The Morning Line and he has picked up many avid followers as his tips are often well thought and can provide readers with those all-important winners.
